Dear Madam, Dear Sir,
welcome at the IGU Storage
Committee Database portal. The data on UGS facilities were collected
during 2015-2018 triennium and provide an overview of UGS status and
its outlook. We would like to use this opportunity and thank to all gas
companies and association which contributed with the data for this
portal.
Storage provides general benefits for the entire gas
infrastructure, not only for balancing of gas grids but it also helps
the final customers to get their gas in efficient, reliable and secured
way. The UGS Database SG has been established for the first time as a
part of the International Gas Union Triennium work programme 2000-2003
as Basic Activity and since then, it provides valuable summary of UGS
activities worldwide. The study has been constantly improved over
trienniums and is complemented by below mentioned additional
deliverables
- UGS Data viewer
- UGS facts in Charts & Tables
- UGS interactive map
- UGS vocabulary in fourteen languages
- Studies from the previous triennium
After registration selected data are available; however, detailed data
including their exports are available only to members of IGU Storage
Committee and contributors.
